Goalkeeper Austin Ejide was the first foreign-based professional to hit the camp of Super Eagles in Germany, Monday, as the team intensified training programme for the high-profile friendly match against Mexico, 2014 World Cup qualifying matches and the FIFA Confederations Cup tournament.

Ejide, himself an 11-year veteran like first-choice Vincent Enyeama,breezed into the team's Novina Hotel camp in Nuremberg after the team had finished its once-a- day training session, usually in the morning.

He joins the 12 home-based professionals who arrived in Nuremberg with the officials on Friday.
