JOB FUNCTION: The Site Quality Coordinator plans and coordinates inspection activities for discipline inspectors at site and reports to the Site Manager of Quality Surveillance issues, status and metrics. Informs the Project Quality Manager (PQM) or Quality Assurance Coordinator (QAC) of quality issues while ensuring establishment and proper implementation of adequate control processes within the site inspection activities, as stipulated in the Project Plan and the Project Quality Plan. Monitoring and coordinating Site Surveillance Programs and Contractors plans and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Schedules and coordinates inspection activities on site

• Advises and informs Site Manager on Quality issues, status and metrics.

• Ensure establishment and proper implementation of adequate control processes within the site Project Team (PT), as stipulated in the Project Plan and the Project Quality Plan.

• Develops and coordinates Site Audit Schedule and conducts site audits.

• Evaluate and monitor implementation of contractor's site quality management systems.

• Monitor, investigate, identify and raise site quality issues to the Project Team.

• Utilize Construction Surveillance Program, evaluate quality metrics and provide reports to responsible line management, PQM and Function, as required.

• Provide site Quality training as required for site inspection personnel.

• Develop Site Quality Plan, when required.

• Promote Quality awareness throughout the Site.

• Review contractors site quality audit schedule, monitor contractor's site audit program, and participate in selected site audits.

• Review and comment on contractor's site quality organization.

• Interview contractor's key Site QA staff and monitor their performance.

• Review and comment on contractor's Site Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's).

• Monitor and audit implementation of contractors Quality Program.

• Participate in review of any proposed sub-contractors not on approved bidders list.

• Ensure contractor and PT implement Criticality Rating process, as required.

• Ensure contractor is performing quality reporting per the contract.

• Assist Sites in selection of inspectors and supervise discipline inspectors including correlate/review their daily reports.

• Review and, when necessary, assist in development of the Quality portion of site close-out reports.

• Ensure previous lessons learned are reviewed and that new lessons learned are identified.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.

• Formal technical, quality assurance and auditor/assessor training is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Engineering, Construction, Commissioning or Start-up activities of various facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry.

• Minimum 5 years of experience associated with Quality Management, and coordination of quality activities within Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Start-up projects of various facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry.

• Worldwide experience with contractors, in particular those involved in the construction of offshore and onshore production facilities.

• Experience with facilitating efforts to resolve interface issues and coordinate multiparty QA objectives

• High level of construction knowledge, skill and experience

• Communication, strategy/planning skills

• Computer proficiency with MicroSoft applications
