The Contents Of The Curiosity Cube Revealed: Winner Becomes In-Game God

The social experiment and smartphone app Curiosity: What's Inside The Cube has finally come to a close early Sunday morning. The winner, Bryan Henderson of Edinburgh, Scotland, will become an intrinsic part of creator Peter Molyneux's new game Godus as the one god ruling over all other players. After UK studio 22Cans accelerated the experiment to its final 50 layers earlier this month, the race was on to be the last person to tap the floating cube and reap the rewards.

What part will Henderson's status play in Godus, a cross-platform mobile and PC/Mac game that will let you run a civilization as a deity? He will not only rule over potentially tens of thousands of other players - setting rules, imposing a moral code and acting as a sort of Zeus of Greek mythology from what it sounds like - but he will also share in the profits of the game and its in-app purchases. The quantity of his slice of the revenue is not yet clear.
