It was all day thrills and fun for schools on children' day as Lagos state government reminded parents through their children in schools the benefits of tax compliance while pupils were taken around the state to see for themselves several projects completed by the government to actually convince them on what the government of Lagos state is able to achieve with tax payers money in the state.

According to the chairman, Lagos Internal Revenue Service, Mr Babatunde Fowler, the reformed tax administration in the state has immensely benefitted Lagosians and schools in the state are not left out as many of them had won scholarship awards, cash prizes, computers etc that could enhance their educational career through essay competition on taxation in order to keep them abreast on the importance of tax payment so that when they grow up as leaders of tomorrow, they would not forget to pay tax.
