Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Locations: Nigeria (Benin City, Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Warri, or Yenagoa)

Responsibilities:

•   Design of Electrical Power distribution system.

•   Design & installation of transformers and protection/control, as well as motor control, plant lighting, and grounding.

•   Control panel layout design& installation

•   Low voltage power distribution systems installation

•   I/O wiring

•   Fieldbus design

•   UPS design& installation

•   Prepare technical reports and Client correspondences/presentations

•   Review and prepare detailed specifications and contract documents for procurement of major electrical equipment as well as construction document packages.

•   Assist in the preparation of the technical portions of Procurement documents (RFQs, POs), and review equipment tenders and vendor documents

•   Assist in the coordination of project activities

•   Visits to project sites and other design offices for project related activities, i ncluding commissioning and startup support

Requirements:

•   BSc or B.Eng Electrical/Electronics Engineering

•   Candidates must have previously worked in an Oil & Gas Construction Environment.

•   7 years minimum total post graduate experience in oil and gas industry

•   Strong IT skills

•   Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
