Leading telecommunications operator, Globacom, has congratulated the Super Eagles for recording an important away win over the Harambee Stars of Kenya in a World Cup qualifying match played on Wednesday in Nairobi.

In a released statement, Globacom said that Eagles were 'unlimited' in their performance against Kenya and so, urged them to sustain the momentum next week when they take on Namibia in Windhoek in order to consolidate on their chances of representing Africa at the Mundial in Brazil.

"The match was grueling.

We commend the Super Eagles for their hardwork, unflagging concentration and never-say-die spirit, which earned them the vital three away points," the statement added. Globacom observed that the victory had deepened the Super Eagles' rating as African champions, adding that they should be focused as they represent Africa at the Confederations Cup in Brazil from June 15 this year.

The company enjoined Nigerians not to relent in giving the much needed support to the Eagles through prevailing prayers so that they could go on to win more laurels for Nigeria.

Nigeria now leads Group F with eight points, Malawi comes second with six points, while Namibia is third with four points. Kenya remains at the bottom of the table with two points. Globacom is the major partner of the Nigeria Football Federation and official sponsor of Nigerian national teams.

Globacom's intervention in football is something I'm so proud of. Wale Adenuga loves Ngeria's sport a lot. Good one.
