Nigerian football legend, Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha showed he had lost none of his jaw-dropping skills as he scored for the Africa XI against the World XI in Michael Essien's charity game - the game of hope - in Accra on Saturday.

Okocha, known for his outrageous step-overs, skills, technique and ability to change a game in a six pence displayed he had lost none of his touches as he inspired the African XI to a 4-2 win over the World XI in Accra.

Okocha's goal on 39 minutes was provided by Tottenham Hotspur man, Emmanuel Adebayor who walked the ball around the goalkeeper after a defensive mix-up, allowing the Nigerian to finish from two yards out.

In all, it was a rewarding afternoon for Okocha who made 73 appearances and scored 14 times for the Super Eagles between 1993 and 2006.

The game which was to raise funds for charity events by the Michael Essien Foundation featured an array of some of the greatest football talents around the world.

Michael Ballack, Ricardo Carvalho, Djibril Cisse, Michael Essien, Okocha, Emmanuel Adebayor, Andre and Kwame Ayew all took part.
