Job Title: Safety Analyst

Job Description:

1. Collate and analyze data from project locations on various KPIs and safety initiatives for weekly and monthly reporting to Project and Functional management.

2. Prepare Project Safety statistics for safety meetings and update the SHE information boards regularly.

3. Develop and maintain spreadsheet for Project incidents and observations (U-see U-act, inspections etc.).

4. Documentation and update of actions status from Audits, Hazard Hunts, LPOs, incidents investigation, Safety Inspections, Management Walkthroughs, Emergency Drills and Meetings.

5. Develop trends from Project safety data.

6. Participate in the organization of safety trainings, workshops and meetings and documentation of minutes of meetings

7. Maintain Site Safety Advisors Rotation, Time-off and Leave Schedule

8. Participate in Ergonomics Assessment and Maintain Ergonomics Assessment Database

9. Provide Project Safety Induction for New Arrivals and Maintain Induction Records

10. Administer and maintain the SHE Common Folder in the I-Drive

11. Maintain both Electronic and Hard Copies of Safety documents and reports (Audits, Hazard Hunts, LPOs, incident investigation, Safety Inspections, Management Walkthroughs, Emergency Drills and Meetings) in a proper filing system

12. Maintenance of SHE Trainings Records and Database

13. Ensure contractors' SHE standards are aligned to NPO/Project procedures and provide support for improvement.

14. Analyze Department safety statistics in order to evaluate, detect and respond to trends and patterns.

15. Development and Management of SHE Software – Databases and Web Applications

16. Develop SHE expectations for projects management teams

17. Carry out regular visits to project sites for verification of safety plan.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field is preferred + NEBOSH IGC or CSP

• 4-8 years in Construction Safety-related positions

• Certified for scaffolding inspection.

• Thorough knowledge of Safety standards, codes and practices

• Ability to function in an integrated project team environment

• Practical Safety judgment

• Ability to work in harsh environments, in stressful situations, with ever changing priorities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, Lotus Notes, etc.

• Read, write, and speak fluent English, as required to function effectively within a project team

• Demonstrated ability to develop successful working relationships with emphasis on interfacing and mentoring in a team environment
