All on-going developmental projects already embarked upon by the present administration in Ogun State will be completed before May 2015.

Commissioner for Information and Strategy in the State, Barrister Yusuph Olaniyonu gave this assurance during a media chat in his office, maintaining that the just concluded state wide project inspection tour by Governor Ibikunle Amosun was an eye opener for gauging people’s perception and measuring performance of the administration in the last two years.

Olaniyonu said that the warm reception accorded the Governor and his entourage during the visit to the various projects spread all over the State had largely confirmed that residents appreciate the giant strides of the government in its mission to rebuild. He noted that the years of neglect by both the Federal and successive Governments in the State had left the infrastructure in a near comatose situation, adding that the support enjoyed during the tour has spurred the present government to continuously deliver visible democratic dividends to all parts of the State.

“The present administration believes that there is no reason for everything that we see in other developed parts of the world not to be in Ogun State, and that has been the motivating factor for us as a government to stop at nothing to bring world-class development to the door steps of our people. It is all about unique thinking and doing things differently from others”, he said. The Commissioner added that the recent face-off with teachers in the State would soon be resolved as both sides had decided to shift grounds in the interest of the numerous students to resume back to the classes.
