Going by the latest FIFA ranking, Nigeria is rated fourth in Africa behind, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana and Mali in that order.

Meanwhile, the President of the Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, is set to host the Cranes for dinner next week.

After the Cranes 2-1 victory over Angola in a 2014 World Cup qualifier last weekend, President Museveni was very impressed and promised to host the team at his State House in Entebbe.

Museveni who also played football in High School is said to have telephoned on match day to wish the team success.

World Cup qualifiers can hold for now so we can focus on the Confederations Cup. We need to go far in that competition.
