PA,Comm, info                        The Minister of Information, Mr Labaran Maku has described the Nigerian Police, as one of the most risky jobs in the country, and called on Nigerians to give the Force needed support.

The Minister made the call at the on-going accountability session which featured the Ministry of Police Affairs in Abuja.

While congratulating the Police Affairs Minister for his vision and foresight which has brought major improvement in the sector, Mr Maku urged citizens to make the police their friend and avail them with useful information for the good of the country.

Earlier, the Minister of Police Affairs, Navy Captain Caleb Olubolade, enumerated the Ministry's achievements including the upgrading of the Police Academy in Wudil, Kano to a degree awarding institution with approval obtained from the National Universities Commission, recognising the Academy as a degree awarding institution.

He also, informed that one major security project is the NPSCS Project emanating from a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU), signed between Messrs ZTE corporation of Shenzhen, China and the Federal Government of Nigeria.
