Egypt's U-20 head coach Rabie Yassin has revealed that his players were responsible for their 1-2 defeat against Chile in their first match in Group E Sunday.
.
The Baby Pharaohs scored first at Akde University Stadium through Mahmoud Abdul Monem Kahraba but the South American fought back by scoring two goals by Nicolas Castillo and Christian Bravo.
.
"They did not understand that there is a difference between how to play a match with an African team and how to play with team not out of Africa." Yassin said after the match.
.
"As a team we were better than Chile but my
players made too many mistakes which we have to fix before our next match" he added.
.
Egypt will play their next match against their Arabian counterpart Iraq on Wednesday. The Iraqi team in turn drew with England during their first match on Sunday.
.
Now Chile is on the top of the group with three points followed by Iraq and England with one point and Egypt at the bottom of the group without any points.
