A Federal High Court, Lagos, on Thursday re-adjourned ruling on an application through which two Anosike brothers – Noel and Fidelis – are seeking the court to quash the fraud charges instituted against them by the Federal Government.

The Federal Government had preferred against them charges of advance fee fraud, money laundering and fraudulent conversion of proceeds realised from the sale of assets belonging to Daily Times of Nigeria against the defendants.

Noel and Fidelis, who were charged along with their company, Folio Communications Limited, were accused of converting about N325m of DTN's assets to their private use.

But the accused brothers are, through their application, objecting to the fraud charges, arguing that  the court lacked jurisdiction to entertain the case because they were not properly served with the charges.

Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke had, on May 7, 2013, when he heard arguments on the application, adjourned till Thursday for ruling.

But the judge, at Thursday's proceedings, said the ruling was not ready and also re-adjourned the ruling till September 30.
