This is to inform candidates that made Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo their first and/or second choice, who had scored 150 and above in 2013 UTME examination, that online registration for 2013/2014 Post-UTME screening exercise had commenced from 18th June, 2013.

The scratch cards for the registration can be obtained at any branch of the following banks and post-offices:
(i). First Bank Plc, (Owo and Alagbaka-Akure Branches);
(ii). Skye Bank Plc, Owo;
(iii). Wema Bank Plc, Owo;
(iv). Enterprise Bank Ltd, Owo; and
(v). Post-Offices in Ondo, Ekiti, Oyo, Lagos, Edo States, Abuja, Port-Harcourt and Higher Institution Consultancy Centre (HICC) Office, behind the Directorate of Academic Affairs of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo.

The scratch card for registration, checking of result and admission status can be purchased on payment of Five Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (# 5,500.00) only, while the past questions can be downloaded from the website of the institution.

•   Entries must be made not later than Saturday, 10th August, 2013.
•   The date for the screening exercise is Monday, 19th August, 2013 by 9.00 a.m. prompt.
•   Venue for the exercise is Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Campus, Owo.

ADMISSION INTO EXTRA MURAL CLASSES, FOUNDATION (Pre-ND), NATIONAL DIPLOMA (PART-TIME), HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (FULL/PART-TIME), POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD) AND PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2013/2014 ACADEMIC SESSION

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Extra-Mural classes, Foundation Class Pre -ND), National Diploma (Part-Time), Higher National Diploma (Fulltime and Part-Time), Post-Graduate Diploma (Urban & Regional Planning), and Professional Programmes of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo for the 2013/2014 Academic Session into the following Faculties:
1.   Faculty of Agricultural Technology
2.   Faculty of Business Studies
3.   Faculty of Engineering Technology
4.   Faculty of Environmental Studies
5.   Faculty of Applied Sciences
6.   Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication Studies.

Method of Application
Application forms are obtainable online at (www.rugipo.edu.ng) through the purchase of scratch card on the payment of Ten Thousand Five Hundred Naira (# 10,500.00) only, while the past questions can be downloaded from the website of the institution.

The Closing Date for entries for ND PT and HND FT/PT is Saturday, 14th September, 2013 while the Screening Exercise will hold on Tuesday, 17th September, 2013 in the Campus at 9.00 a.m.

RUFUS GIWA POLYTECHNIC NEWS UPDATE ON THE ON-GOING POST-UTME APPLICATION

This is to inform all candidate applying for the post UTME examination exercise of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (RUGIPO) that are having problem with their application cards to call this phone No 08107228656 as follows:

Mon        =====> 8.00am-5.00p.m
Tue        =====> 10.00am-4.00p.m
Wed       =====> 2.00p.m-4.00p.m
Thur-Fri  =====> 8.00am-4.00p.m
Saturday =====> 10.00am-3.00p.m

However, Candidate that have applied for Science Laboratory Technology between 20th June, 2013 and 6th July, 2013, should go back and re-applied, so that the system can allocate venue, session to your application and also displayed your picture.
