Law School training helped me –Mobisola Akerele

My first solo appearance was before Justice Bolaji Candido Johnson of the Lagos High Court. My principal in my chambers asked me to appear in court to ask for an ajournment.

I can say it confidently that the training in Law School helped me a lot. During my studies at the Law School, I had appeared in court with other senior lawyers to move a similar application. so, I picked up the file, studied it and appeared in court.

When the matter was called, I announced my appearance and ask for an ajournment. The court granted my request.

It was so easy for me because I had participated in several courts preceedings and practiced on several occasions in my moot trial exercise at the Law School.
