Job Title: Demand Planner  

Employer: SABMiller – Nigeria

We are looking for Demand Planner who will provide internal customers with a demand forecast on tactical and operational levels so that informed business decisions can be made.  The position reports to the national Supply Chain Manager.  

Key accountabilities include:

•   Compiling and managing an agreed demand forecast

•   Reporting on forecast performance

•   Providing statistical statistical information to the business

Desired Skills & Experience:

•   Minimum B. Degree with a major in maths or statistics

•   Minimum 4 years' experience in a demand planning role within supply chain

•   Knowledge and experience in clearing and forwarding processes

•   Experience in the management of a large data base

•   Good knowledge of supply chain principles and practices

•   Excellent understanding of inventory management

•   Analytical thinking

•   Software applications and system knowledge

•   Practical research methodology

•   Advanced statistical methods
