Our Client, a scheduled carrier with routes between West Africa, South Africa, the UK and North America now plan to enhance their team with skills from other Countries across the African continent. Their Airline is adopting the highest of International standards and plans to develop further as an effective, winning company. Already one of West Africa's leading Airlines operating Domestic, Regional and International flights from their two bases, they operate a Fleet of Boeing, Airbus, Challenger and Hawker aircraft, with plans to add more in the near future.

Our Client plans to hire 4 x A340-500 Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) Licensed Engineers. If you'd like to join the Team, to provide safe and compliant aircraft maintenance activities for the Airline's fleet please read the details below and Apply as requested:

Working Relationships:

• Flight Deck and Operations

• You will work closely with the Technical team, as well as third party MROs

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities: This position is an integral part of this Part M and 145 Maintenance Operation. Correct operation will provide the Airline with a Maintenance focal point, plus save money by helping to avoid Aircraft On Ground (AOGs) – and, when they do occur, deal with them in a timely manner. These positions will also satisfy regulatory and MRO audits and regulations.

Additionally, you'll:

• Provide Technical AOG Support to in-service aircraft, using manuals and experience to assist the Flight Deck in finding solutions and coordinating the recovery process as required to minimize delays

• Coordinate with OCC to ensure Operations are kept informed of all Technical situations and timescales

• Coordinate with the Part 145 team to ensure prompt troubleshooting and spares ordering is carried out

• Coordinate with the Part 145 and CAMO teams for planned maintenance ensuring all required resources are available

• Track all deferred defects, working to clear the defect before the time limit expires and also to keep the number of deferred defects to a minimum

• Maintenance planning will be directed to MCC where the tasks will be promulgated to the Line Engineers after consultation with the Part 145 to ensure Daily Weekly and OOP Maintenance is performed on time.

• Ensure the CAMMOE have all required Operational Data and Technical Reports

• Work with the CAMO on repetitive defects

• Write a daily Technical Report and update all Maintenance Systems

• Review all Tech Log pages

• Chair a daily meeting to review previous day and coordinate the current day's Maintenance

Who Will Our Client Hire?

• You must have 10 years minimum experience of Line/Base Maintenance at least 3 years on type, Licensed on Airbus 330/340; experience on any of the following would enhance your application – Boeing 737 Classic/NG, CRJ, Dash 8 and HS125-800 preferable with base operations

• Previous experience on the RR Trent 500 engine type is preferred

• You must report with current, genuine and legal Approvals, Licenses and Qualifications and make sure they are all kept and maintained to the Airline's standards at all times

• Extensive experience of line/base maintenance, with effective communication and team building skills are critical

• Good knowledge of technical support functions, MEL and maintenance planning systems

• Good IT Skills and a knowledge of current MRO IT Systems

• Good communication skills and strong organizational skills

• Attention to detail is a necessity

• You should bring good understanding of cultural issues and have a multi-cultural approach and attitude

• Personal qualities eg the ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision and the ability to be flexible and creative, will all be preferred and welcomed
