The Chairman of the National Salaries Incomes and Wages Commission, Richard Onwuka Egbule has informed members of the Magistrate, Conference of Judges of FCT lower Courts that the Commission will review the case concerning their proposed salary structure for their members which was presented to the Commission by the FCT.

Egbule was speaking in Abuja, when a delegation of the conference of Judges of FCT lower courts led by their President, Mr Odo Celestine paid a courtesy visit to the Commission.

The Chairman of the Commission said he will look into their case in conjunction with the report of the Presidential Committee on Harmonization of Salaries and advise the Government accordingly.

Earlier, Mr. Celestine was quick to point out that their predicament started in 2011 when they petitioned the Secretary to the Government of the Federation for a special consideration of remuneration of Judges of FCT lower courts by the Presidential Committee for Harmonization of Wages and allowances in the public service of the federation.

He therefore, thanked the Commission for finding time to listen to their grievances.

Salary has to be reviewed every now and then before because the economy is not always friendly....I agree with this.
