Our client a major player in the telecoms, real estate and logistics requires the service of an Inventory Officer.

Job Description (Short description):

•   To oversee the Warehouse and provide support to the Manager Central Inventory

•   To ensure efficient and effective warehousing operations

Desired Skills & Experience:

Key Performance Areas:

Role/ Task Complexity:

•   Coordinate the reception, storage and issuance of items with utmost attention required to ensure smooth operation

•   Keeps records accurate, up to date and fully reconciled

•   Participate in the stock taking exercise as scheduled

•   Participate in reconciliation after the stock taking exercise

•   Posts all stock transactions in the Inventory Register and on Business Application System

•   Ensure stock balances on BAS tallies with stock balances on inventory Register at all times

•   Maintain and provide relevant stock reports (Periodic and ad-hoc) to the Logistics Manager

•   Escalate non-moving items to Logistics Manager

•   Keep the store environment neat and tidy

Minimum Requirements:

Education:                                                                  

B.Sc in Accounting

Work Experience: 1-2 years

Supervisory Experience: None

Role Experience: 0-1 years
