Only God has your master plan, says Pastor Nkiruka

Stick to God's ways and the knockers or faultfinders of this world will never have it over you. That is the crux of the message delivered by Pastor Nkiruka Chidi Anthony, wife of General Overseer, King in Christ Church, Ajao Estate Lagos. Excerpts:

No one knows how you came into this earth nor has the right to determine who or what you will become. The day you arrived on earth, no one had possession of your blueprint. Only God has your master plan. The brothers of Jacob sold him into slavery. One thing that is baffling about the trading of Joseph is that the day he was sold into slavery, Potiphar was not the only one that bought slaves.

Other people bought. But because God in heaven was involved in his case, Joseph was sold to Potiphar. He was not sold to just any person. They sold him to an influential fellow in the government of Egypt. If Joseph was sold to just anybody, he may not have actualised his destiny. He was carried into slavery but he found himself in the house of a governor in one of the provinces in Egypt because it was destined to be.

When God has a plan for you, He will turn you around. He will take you to places before you get to your destiny. I don't know who God is taking for a journey. But I can see Him taking somebody to a journey. Very soon you shall get to your destiny, in the name of Jesus. Our God is great maker. He knows how to make or array you. I see God making somebody. After his brothers sold him, all was still not well for the envious brothers. Trouble continued to hunt them. Do you know why? It is so because before you come out of the tribulation, God will make you. Do not think that the trial you are going through is a problem? God is making you pass through the situation because He is in the process of taking you to your destiny.

Immediately Joseph entered into Potiphar's house, another problem surfaced. Some of us will cry and complain: 'oh I have just come out of one, what is this one again oh? Why me Oh Lord.' I can see the hear t of men. I can see a lot of us complaining about one situation or the other. But I come to you with good news today. Our master planner is still very much alive. He shall perfect all that concerns us in the name of Jesus. As soon as Joseph began to work as a slave, another problem reared its ugly head. Potiphar's wife said to Joseph, come; I will give you everything you need if only you will sleep with me. I don't know what offer the devil is giving you in that situation you are passing through, don't compromise your integrity. Do not give up on your Christian virtue, because it is what will take you to your destiny.

The Lord has carved out great destiny for each and every one of us. But some of us would trade it for peanut. Thank God for Joseph. He backed out knowing where he was coming from. How many people reading this message now know where they are coming from? Joseph rejected the evil offer by Potiphar's wife. The Bible records that, that was not the end of trials for Joseph. Maybe someone has been troubling your family, work or business. They are only helping you to get to where God has destined you. Those problems are just the process you need to pass through to get to our destination. I see you get to your destination, in the name of Jesus.

In the long run, Joseph was cast into prison on a frame-up charge. I can imagine Joseph in anguish right there in the prison. He must have said 'oh Lord, is this how I am going to achieve the great destiny which you revealed through my dream that is awaiting me? Am I going to end it this way?' I don't know who God is addressing this morning through this message. You may have been pushed to one corner because of the condition or situation around you. But I prophesy to you that it will never end that way in your life, in the name of Jesus. Like Joseph was depressed in the prison, a lot of us are crying. A lot of us are asking questions: Oh I have been coming to church, why are all these calamities befalling me? Why has poverty continued to make life miserable for me? Why are other people accomplishing greatly with ease while I walk about hopelessly? But I tell you, do not faint, your own time is now. If you believe that, say a big amen to God!

Joseph's time came and God caused the King of Egypt (Pharaoh) to dream a dream that no one in the entire land could interpret. All you reading this message now, God will create a situation that only you will become the solution provider in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord shall cause something in your family, your work place, in your business that only you will have the answer and that thing shall announce your promotion, in the name of Jesus. It shall take you to your destiny.

First, Joseph's fellow inmates, who were Pharaoh's servants dreamt. Joseph gave correct interpretation of their dreams. The dream came to pass and one of the servants was reinstated in his job in Pharaoh's house while the other was killed according to the interpretation given by Joseph. The Bible records that Pharaoh also dreamt and there was no one in the entire kingdom to interpret hiss dream. But the servant who was reinstated according to the interpretation of his dream given by Joseph told the king about Joseph's gift of interpretation of dreams. The king ordered for Joseph to be brought before him. It was time and God had remembered Joseph. The king asked Joseph to tell him the dream and also give the interpretation. Joseph told Pharaoh's dream and gave the interpretation. He marvelled and said: who is this man? From that day, Joseph's destiny came to reality. Pharaoh made Joseph the Prime Minster over the entire land of Egypt.

I see your own destiny coming to reality in the name of Jesus. If God can take Joseph from prison to the palace, the Lord shall make you actualise your destiny in the name of Jesus. I could see Joseph rejoicing and saying to himself, "This is my dream, my dreaming of becoming great. My dream to become a king over other people; I have been announcing to people but certain situation made it look unrealistic. Thank God today for I have been enabled to witness its actualisation. The Bible records that Joseph became prime minister of Egypt and his brother who sold him into slavery to abort his destiny came to beg him. I prophesy to you now; I don't know who have betrayed you, gossiped about you, tried to drive you away from you rightful inheritance; they shall come looking for you, in the name of Jesus. Maybe people have abandoned and rejected you in the past; I prophesy to you now, they will come back to beg you, in the name of Jesus. As long as you are a child of God, the knockers of this world will never determine your end. It will never end that way.
