Liverpool are en route to concluding formalities for landing Chelsea winger Victor Moses on loan at Anfield after the clubs mutually agreed to a £1m deal for the Nigerian, according to reports in The Guardian.
.
Moses has found himself out of favour with new Blues manager Jose Mourinho, despite some match winning performances last season. However, with Chelsea's midfield already overflowing with talent and with the arrival of the likes of Andre Schurrle and Willian (not to forget the return of Kevin De Bruyne from Werder Bremen) this summer, chances would have become harder to come by for the Nigerian anyway.
.
However, Moses could still have a long term future at Stamford Bridge as there is no clause or possibility of Liverpool making the deal permanent over the course of the season or after his loan period at Anfield ends.
.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian was also wanted by sides like Everton, West Bromwich Albion and Southampton, but with the player himself keen on a move to Anfield, it was a pretty simple deal for Brendan Rodgers to wrap up.
.
Moses is expected to head to Liverpool today for his medical.
