Nigeria have announced a 23-man squad that include Vincent Enyeama and Nosa Igiebor for their 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Malawi in Calabar on September 7.
.
Enyeama, 31, has been restored to the Nigeria squad by Stephen Keshi after he was excused from the Nelson Mandela Challenge in Durban on August 14.
.
Igiebor is also back in the squad of the African champions after missing out in recent matches including the Fifa Confederations Cup in Brazil in June.
.
"I've always stated and maintained that we have a pool of players to pick from ahead of crucial games like this. Vincent is a key member of our squad and Nosa Igiebor is always impressing and pressing for a squad place and you can't ignore such a talent," Keshi told supersport.com.
.
Keshi had earlier named a 42-man squad which the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) frowned at.
.
But the federation's technical and development has now accepted and endorsed the 23-man squad for the Malawi tie.
.
"We have accepted the list of 23 players and they will resume camping for the match in Calabar as from Monday," Barrister Chris Green, Chairman of the NFF Technical and Development Committee, said.
