Job Title: Delivery Customer Care Assistant

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Employer: Philly and Mools Group

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

•         Stock taking, sorting ,cleaning and packing of egg, chicken, beef and any other farm produce for delivery to clients in a creative, neat and safe manner

•         Report to work at 7.30am on weekdays and 9.00am on Saturdays and 11.00am on environmental Saturdays

•         Assist in pick-up of eggs, vegetables and other farm produce from farms or suppliers to designated delivery points

•         Assist in purchase of egg, chicken, beef, packaging material and any other item as requested by the reporting Supervisor

•         Resolves delivery and packaging issues with customers as the first line customer service officer in a professional and pleasant manner

•         Oversees delivery process from the pick-up point up to the point of delivery;

•         Assist in negotiating for competitive rate with clients and suppliers

•         Maintain a co-operative attitude with Farm driver, reporting Supervisor and other internal customers

•         Receiving, processing and monitoring client/customer orders and sales using telephone calls, SMS, emails and other media as approved by reporting Supervisor

•         Keep an updated record of daily sales, creditors and debtors  in approved record entry; soft and hard copies

•         Submit a weekly report on sales and other inventory to Supervisor at the close of work on Mondays and Thursdays mornings

•         Clean and maintain a clean work station (including storage areas, packaging item and storage item) in a safe and hygienic manner

•         Ensure professional representation of the company and its policies through responsible driving, appearance and good customer relationship skills

•         Renders delivery assistance as requested by management of Freshly Yours Ltd

Competency and Skills Requirements:

•        Must be passionate about healthy food

•        Must be able to work flexible hours

•         Ability to transmit information effectively i.e. in clear and detailed terms to customers

•         Relationship Management

Possession of inter-personal skills (Ability to interact effectively with people – all level of staff and customers ) Good customer service orientation (Ability to develop, build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers).

•         Sound ethics and integrity. Must be discernibly honest and of consistent upright character Must be ethical

•        Excellent knowledge of Lagos and interstate road network and traffic rules as well as trade rules governing carriage of goods

•        Ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision as well as having an eye for detail and accuracy

•        Willingness to learn new skills on the job

•        Ability to read and write in English

•        Communications skills and listening skills must be excellent

•        Ability to set realistic, achievable, time- bound goals

Good appreciation and working knowledge of office productivity tools (Microsoft excel)

Minimum Qualifications:

•   SSCE

•   OND or a tertiary education in view would be an advantage

•   Ability to drive would be an added advantage with the possession of a valid FRSC driver's license as recognized by Vehicle Inspection Unit of Lagos State
