Guedioura Takes Crystal Palace Signings To 15

Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace announced on Tuesday that they have signed Algerian international midfielder Adlene Guedioura from Nottingham Forest on a three-year contract.

The deal was made public 12 hours after the close of the close-season transfer window but the move was allowed to go through because part of the deal was in place before the deadline passed.

Guedioura, 27, spent 18 months at second-tier Forest after initially signing on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Palace manager Ian Holloway had already completed deadline-day deals for defenders Jack Hunt, Adrian Mariappa and Barry Bannan, as well as taking striker Cameron Jerome on loan from Stoke City.

In total, the south London club have made 15 new signings since being promoted from the Championship last season
