Roles and responsibilities:    

•   Oversee the financial operations of the firm

•   Determine cost of operations of the firm

•   Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

•   Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements

•   Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment

•   Maintain banking relationships

•   Assist in determining the company's proper capital structure

•   Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction

•   Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company

•   Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement

•   Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities

•   Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput

•   Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis

•   Enforcing Company financial policies and procedures

•   Recommend actions to management

•   Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.

•   Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential

Desired Attributes:

•   Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline

•   5years relevant work experience

•   Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

•   Ability to handle multiple deliverables concurrently to deliver high quality results in committed timeframes

•   Strong organizational, prioritization and analytical skills

•   Strong reconciliation skills

•   Experience with enterprise applications and strong spreadsheet skills

•   Knowledge of firm's financial and reference data systems as well as other financial applications

•   Excellent business technical skills, including MS Excel, Access or other database.

•   Knowledge of compliance regulations and/or experience in a compliance/audit/fraud function in the payments, e-commerce or banking industries.
