Job Title: Branch Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria

Employer: Nigerian Ropes Plc.

Requirement:

•   The branch manager is responsible for the overall Management the branch operations, sales operations, customer liaison and relations, business development, sales performance.

•   Maintaining an exceptional level of customer service, by developing strong sales Team Members.

•   Maximizing the sales and profits of the company.

Specific Roles

•   Understands and communicates the company's mission and objectives to the Sales team and Branch.

•   Provides the direction, leadership and communication necessary to achieve sales results and operating plan goals for the company.

•   Ensures the Head of Sales provide the same to the team members.

•   Achieves company quantitative objective including: sales.

•   Communicates all branch issues, concerns and needs to the Executive Director, Sales & Marketing.

•   Responsible for maintaining operational excellence in each branch.

•   Responds to directives in an accurate and timely manner and ensures the same compliance of the branch team.

•   Recognizes and propose rewards for outstanding performance of sales team members.

•   Provides and Demonstrates exceptional leadership behaviors to all team members.

•   Advises Management on product costing and pricing.

Customer Service

•   Strives for the ultimate in sales customer service experiences and impressions.

•   Maintain excellent customer service metrics.

•   Ensures the company has adequate location coverage at all times.

•   Trains sales team to successfully handle service issues.

•   Motivates and mentors team members on providing customers with product recommendation and information.

•   Educates and engage the industry customers on all the company's products and services.

Sales Operations

•   Adheres to and has knowledge of all company policies and procedures.

•   Coach, counsel and direct Team members.

•   Provides performance feedback to Team members.

•   Deploys Team Members as required to meet business demands and make necessary staffing decision.

•   Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective daily operations and the overall operation of the sales department.

•   Follow all safety, cash handling and operation procedures and policies and ensure that sales team members are in compliance.

•   Coordinate, manage and participate in off site program customer visits and deliveries.

•   Signs and recommends for approval all SOPs before passing to Service Centre.

•   Sign and recommends for approval all petty cash voucher emanating from Sales department and the branch.

•   Vet all operational expenses from the branch before passing to account.

Position Qualification

•   First Degree (B.Sc or H.N.D.)

•   Membership of relevant professional body and MBA shall be added advantage.

•   Minimum of 5 years consistent relevant experience.
