Kebbi State Police Commissioner And Four Aides Die In Auto Crash Along Kano-Azare Road

Kebbi State Police Commissioner, Alhaji Saadu Umar Dalhatu, has died. He died around 2:00am on Kano-Azare road. A police source informed that the police commissioner's convoy ran into a stationary vehicle on the highway and died instantly .

Four of his aides including two mobile police escorts also died in the accident. Alhaji Dalhatu was on his way to the passing out parade at the Police academy in Kano. Alhaji Dalhatu was born in Azare, Bauchi state on April 16th 1958. He has been buried according to Muslim rites.
