We are currently looking for a Chief Marketing Officer for our client who is a reputable Online Travel Agency with an International Presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for overseeing marketing initiatives within the organization. Work to develop areas such as sales management, business development, distribution  channel management, marketing communications including advertising and promotions, pricing, market research and customer service.

•   Develop high level marketing and brand strategy in line with the strategic vision of the organization.

•   Develop segmentation, competitive analysis/market intelligence, prospecting, lead generation, product and marketing development, pricing, promotions, communications and budgets, sales force effectiveness, strategic planning, service units and revenue retention and growth

•   Modify or redirect business intelligence strategy.

•   Develop and measure key metrics around the business including user acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates, satisfaction and renewal rates.

•   Lead communications team to create a best in class social media presence.

•   Implement and manage marketing budget.

•   Oversee the development of new products.

•   Increase revenue generation

•   Reduce cost

•   Oversee and direct the efforts of the marketing team.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

•         Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree with a specialization in marketing added advantage.

•         At least 10 years of well rounded marketing/business development experience in a position of increasing responsibility with a focus on marketing expansion and identifying emerging market trends.

•         5 years of leadership experience with the ability to motivate and provide professional development to a team of direct reports.

•         Experience building brand awareness.

•         Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand product and service management, sales and business development; along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance.

•         An understanding of all aspects of print material production; development and implementation of social media plans; and working with the press and other related media outlets
