The Abia State House of Assembly has directed the following State

Officers to appear before its Executive Session of Wednesday 23rd

October, 2013 by 10 am prompt.                                                                                               

They are: The Rector, Abia State Polytechnic, Commissioner for

Education and Permanent Secretary Education, the General Manager of

ASEPA and Deputy General Manager of ASEPA, Aba Zone to come alongside

with the Chief Executive Officer of Meekason Investment Company Aba,

the Chairman of Physical Planning and Infrastructure Development

Board. The Commissioner and Permanent Secretary of Ministry of

Transport and the Chairman of Abia State Board of Internal Revenue.

This followed a matter of urgent state and public importance raised by

Hon. Martins Azubuike titled "Attempt to put Abia State in a very bad

light" by certain persons and Agencies involved in the collection of

Internally Generated Revenue of the state.
