Ogun State - Workshop For Perm. Secs Holds Thursday

 A one-day value-based and leadership management workshop for newly appointed Permanent Secretaries in the Ogun State Civil Service holds on Thursday, 31st October, 2013. Venue is the Executive Dinning Hall of the Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta beginning at 9 a.m.     A statement by the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Establishments and Training, Alh. Abdul-Fatai Gbadamosi indicated that the workshop would be declared open by the State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun.     It added that seasoned resource persons drawn from within and outside the public service have been lined up to speak to participants at the workshop.     They include the Head of Service, Mrs. Modupe Adekunle who will speak on “Strategic Thinking for (and) Organizational Effectiveness”, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Alh. Shuaib Afolabi Salisu will speak on “The Mission and Vision of the Present Administration; the Journey so far”.     Others are the former Head of Service, Princes Iyabo Odulate – Yusuf who will speak on “Value–based Leadership, Expectations from Permanent Secretaries” and the Finance Commissioner, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun speaking on “Financial Management and Revenue Generation”.     Also to address participants are retired Permanent Secretaries, Alh. Kunle Adegbite and Dr. Yemisi Ajibawo who will speak on “Understanding the Fundamentals of Registry Organisation, Filling, Indexing and Minuting” and “Health Management” respectively.
