Sequel to the weighty decision of Oleku rapper, Ice Prince, to release his sophomore album, Fire of Zamani, on Spinlet's digital entertainment platform on Monday, Mark Redguard, Spinlet's Marketing CEO, has declared that "the future of entertainment is digital."

According to him, Ice chose to release it on Spinlet because of the influence Spinlet is having on the African music scene as a result of its digital portals. "Music fans all over the world are choosing what music they listen to and when and where which is the great advantage of the digital platform.

And this was the inspiration for Spinlet as a medium to satisfy both the music lovers and the local musicians by providing them an avenue to have an easily accessible, affordable showcase for their talent that can reach more people and from which they can instantly start generating revenue.," he said.

And to make it easier for still for music lovers, he added that Spinlet has launched the Spinlet Music Download Site, which is now accessible on all Macs, PCs, tablets and smartphones, and which uses 'active rendering technology' that is responsively designed to automatically adjust to any screen size to optimise the user experience.

"As smartphone and broadband penetration increase, and data costs reduce across Africa, the demand for digital entertainment is also increasing and we are fully on ground to meet those demands," added Neil Schwatrzman, Spinlet Group CEO.
