Job Title: Financial Analyst

Person Specifications:

•   The ideal candidate will not compromise on Integrity, has an accounting/finance background/experience and has a high proficiency in the use of Excel. The candidate must also have a natural fleer for teaching. Ability to build financial models is a huge plus. Must be proactive and display strong communication and negotiation skills. Must have a good understanding of financial systems and processes.

•   The candidate must be IT Savvy (PowerPoint, Word & Excel (a must)) and understand how to carry out online research. Must have gained experience in a financial institution, preferably a consulting or accounting firm and should have at least one of these qualifications (ACCA, ICAN, CFA (passed Level 1 is sufficient).

•   The firm provides world class financial modelling services and the applicant would be uniquely positioned to gain vast experience in a very short time. The analyst will be groomed to be an excellent financial modeller and trainer within one year of joining the firm and therefore is expected to be a really quick learner.

Duties & Functions: The candidate will report directly to the Principal Analyst.

Specific roles for this function include:

•   budgeting, corporate planning, and forecasting processes to agreed reporting specification for clients

•   Research support on feasibility projects and Blog

•   Build financial models for all major industries

•   Build and maintain dashboards for clients and the firm

•   Provide support on outsourced financial analysis and reporting engagements

•   Carryout Tax and payroll computations as part of the payroll outsourcing team

•   Develop, Calculate & monitor client KPI's and carry out regular Dupont analysis various company's

•   Build detailed presentations, write reports and develop pitch documents for bids, RFP etc

•   Carryout sense checks on existing models, participate in model auditing engagements and operational model updates

•   Close liaison with the Principal Financial Analyst for day to day effectiveness in providing client solutions

•   Manage your reports and activities via our CRM package

Desired Skills and Experience

•   Relevant Graduate Degree with 3 – 5 relevant experience.

•   Part Qualified in either (ACCA, ICAN, CIMA, CFA)

•   Polished Presentation Skills, a proven problem solver
