Design boss Jason Castriota describes the Phoenix concept as a "reference point for the future of Saab product design." Of perhaps equal importance, the revised front-/all-wheel-drive architecture that underpins the Phoenix will provide a platform for the next-generation 9-3, 9-5 and other future Saabs.
