Former Militaray President, Gen Ibrahim Babangida, has raised the alarm over the security situation in the country, describing it as frightening. But the Inspector General of Police, Hafiz Ringim, yesterday assured that security agents were on top of it and would soon bring the situation under control.

Babangida told the Hausa Service of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) monitored in Kaduna that unless something drastic was done to curtail the situation, anything could happen in the country.
