UNN Mobile Lab goes Life in Schools at Iheakpu-Awka

Student Learning on the Building and Construction Module of the Mobile Workshop

Members of staff from the Department of  Vocational Teacher Education, University of Nigeria Nsukka, have  deployed the recently acquired Mobile Laboratories into practical use as  they drove two of them to Iheakpu-Awka Community, in Nsukka, to have  real time interaction with students.

The first beneficiaries were staff and  students of Community Secondary School, Iheakpu-Awka and St Mary's  Grammar school, Iheakpu-Awka.

To students of the Community Secondary  school, it was a day they looked forward to as they waited, in earnest  expectation, for the arrival of the modern laboratory on wheel. But as  Providence had it, the mobile classroom could not make it to its exact  destination because of bad road. It however berthed at St Mary Grammar  School, few metres away from the earlier destination. The accidental  host school therefore took advantage of their location and participated  in the training while staff and students of the original host school,  walked over to the location.
