Khloe Kardashian has filed for divorce from Lamar Odom.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star decided to end her four-year marriage to the basketball star on Friday December 13, after recent rumours he cheated on her with multiple women and is battling a cocaine addiction.

In the new legal documents, filed by her attorney Laura Wasser, the 29-year-old star cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for terminating her marriage, according to gossip website TMZ.com.

Khloe, who stopped wearing her wedding ring late last month after a freestyle rap video of Lamar, 34, emerged online that showed him slurring his words in a song which referenced being unfaithful and smoking drugs, has also asked for her last name to be changed from Kardashian-Odom back to Kardashian.

The brunette beauty removed Odom from her last name on her Instagram and Twitter profiles in September.

An insider said at the time: 'Changing her name on social media was a big step in letting people know she is moving on.'

The former couple, who once starred in their own spin-off series 'Khloe & Lamar,' tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in September 2009, which was filmed for her family's reality TV series, exactly one month after they met at a party in Hollywood.

Shortly before filing for divorce, Khloe was spotted hitting her gym in Los Angeles.

Another insider told People.com that the reality TV star only recently made the difficult decision to end her marriage.

The source said: 'It was a recent decision.

She's been holding out hope but she has to look out for herself.'

Khloe and Lamar have no children together and a pre-nuptial agreement.
