Boo Boys Disappoint Emenike

Fenerbahçe striker Emmanuel Emenike has expressed disappointment with the jeers and boos he got from fans of his old club Karabukspor.

The home crowd constantly whistled and booed the
Nigeria star as Karabukspor won 2-1 against leaders Fenerbache at the weekend. According to fanatik.com.tr, Emenike said, "I did not deserve this behaviour because that city is one of the places that holds the biggest joy for me.

I expected them to show me some understanding.

"I'm a professional footballer, currently I am wearing the shirt of Fenerbahce and so I must fight for my team to win, that is the normal thing."

Emenike cancelled out the opening goal by compatriot Joseph Akpala, but it was not enough as Fenerbache lost their second game of the season.

"We went there to win, but that did not happen. It was a nice feeling to play against my old team. The result did not reflect what we wanted in the match.

We have good team and want to show that on the field," said Emenike, whose first effort in the 29th minute was ruled offside.

So far in the Turkish league this season, Emenike has scored seven goals in 15 matches with six assists.
