Job Purpose: To minimise the roll rate of potential non-performing loans through effective and efficient deployment of Standard Bank Group Rehabilitations Strategies.

KRAs:

•   Implement rehabilitations strategies on all accounts in arrears.

•   Maintain daily activity logs of number of calls, right party contacts, promises to pay and promises to pay kept.

•   Customer education.

•   Compliance with statutory, regulatory and supervisory requirements, to protect the reputation of the Group and avoid sanctions.

•   Reporting any breaches and exposures to the business unit head and/or the divisions' Regulatory Compliance Officer

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•   A first degree in social sciences.

•   Sound knowledge of retail lending analysis techniques, advances, credit criteria, credit policies, risk and financial analysis, credit control and application thereof.

•   Sound understanding of the Bank's products suite – Unsecured Lending, Home Loans, Vehicle & Asset Financing, Credit Cards etc.

•   Sound knowledge of SBG's credit policies, procedures and processes.

•   Minimum of a first degree in social sciences.

•   Working knowledge of MS Office suite with proficiency in MS Excel.

•   Minimum of three year experience in a call centre. Experience in a collections call centre would be an added advantage.  

•   Ability to work with large spreadsheets.

Knowledge:

• Sound knowledge of relevant statutory legislation and all legal procedures

• Sound knowledge of Bank's products.

• Branch network knowledge.
