Role & Responsibility:

•   Achieving the production targets aligned with the plant requirements in the annual budget

•   Maintaining and managing the quality of production processes

•   Supporting the maintenance department during shut downs

•   Minimization of environmental impact during the production

•   Safeguard Human resources by adherence to Health & Safety regulations

•   Responsible for a proper and efficient operation of the grinding plant in accordance with the technical limitations

•   Training and development of Grinding Plant Operators to provide specific plant knowledge

•   Ensure a well-organised communication of decisions and current developments

•   Implement standardized reporting functions, work instructions for optimising the process chains

•   Control and guide the daily work

•   Carry out annual performance reviews of employees

•   Continuous reporting to the Production Manager

•   Comply with all relevant company and statutory environmental, health and safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

•   Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering would be an advantage

•   Several years' experience in the cement industry in a position of appropriate responsibility

•   Confident manner in dealing with assigned operators

•   Very good technical understanding

•   Good communication skills, an ability to work in a team and a confident manner

•   Very good MS-Office knowledge

•   Business-fluent spoken and written English

•   Further languages skills would be an advantage

•   Willingness to travel to various national locations
