By Ben Ikari           What kind of country is this that kills its own people? was Ken Saro-Wiwa's question before he was grabbed unto the gallows to die unjustly. As though the brutal force, rope or hangman noose Nigeria, through injustice Ibrahim Auta, late Phillip Umeadi and Joseph Daudu, etc. were not enough, Goodluck 'Ebele' Jonathan, PDP and the National Assembly are about to attempt to kill and bury Ken Saro-Wiwa and 8 other innocent Ogoni/Niger delta activists again. We are approaching  another Oct. 30 and 31, judgment days and Nov. 10th, the day they were killed, as we await this disrespectful confirmation, having promoted Auta for the office of the Interim Judge of the Abuja division of the Federal High Court.

By Adepoju Paul Olusegun           Goodluck Ebele Jonathan unarguably has an impressive dossier among Nigeria’s living and dead presidents. Like Barak Obama, his story is too good to be true – one of such that make atheists to reconsider their stance on God, nature, spirituality, deity and the trinity. His ascension to the highly coveted post (ask Atiku how bad he wants it) is meteoric, and when made into a film directed by a veteran director like Spike Lee or our own Tade Ogidan, his story could become more successful than Fela on Broadway. This is the only good thing that I can make of an unpresidential president.

By Kunle Durojaiye            It’s the evening of March 17, 2011. The day is winding to a close but not just yet. All of a sudden, twitter goes agog with news that there will be a ‘pro youth’ interview of the incumbent President of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, hosted by the award winning Nigerian artiste, D’banj.

Comment By Nwachi              There is one Nigeria and many Nigerias. There are also many types of Nigeria youth. The Nigerian youth Chimamanda is referring to are bright young things - well educated, overwhelmingly christian and overwhelmingly from Southern Nigeria.

SR Anonymous           President Goodluck Jonathan and his running mate think so little of Nigerians that they have so far fled any venue where the presidential candidates have been invited to hold a debate. But when young Nigerians invited all the candidates to a debate tagged “What About Us?” to be anchored by acclaimed novelist, Chimamanda Adichie, many of them were certain that Mr. Jonathan would not say no to them.

Somehow, with the notable exception of sore losers like the unproductive and intellectually lazy Speaker of the Nigerian National Assembly, many skeptic Nigerians are now suddenly falling in line to accept that a democratic revolution is inevitable in Nigeria after all.

By Moses Ochonu           Muhammadu Buhari appeals to our sense of nostalgia. His candidacy thrives on Nigerian’s disillusionment with the PDP incumbency and its twelve year mismanagement of Nigeria.
