THIS is to inform all the Jamb 2014 candidates who chose The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, (FUNAAB)as their choice in the 2014 UTME that the FUNAAB Post UTME cut-off Mark for the 2014/2015 academic session has been released.
.
The Vice-chancellor of The Federal University of Agriculture, Professor Olusola Bandele Oyewole said the school will continue to use 180 as Post-UTME cut-off mark for 2014/15 admission.
.
He hinted us when he mentioned that 15,000 (fifteen thousand) Jamb candidates who have scored 180 and above will compete for admission.
.
Fifteen thousand Jamb candidates out of about thirty thousand candidates that made the Federal University of Agriculture (FUNAAB), Abeokuta as their choice in the Jamb 2014 UTME, would compete for the available 3000 admission spaces at the institution. If you missed it, you can read it here – FUNAAB can only admit 3000 candidates for 2014/2015 session.
.
The 15,000 Jamb candidates who will be competing for the 3000 admission space, scored 180 and above in the recently released 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).
.
Prof. Oyewole said the overflow in the number of applicants seeking undergraduate studies at the The Federal University of Agriculture followed its high standard and stable academic calendar, adding that only the Senate of the institution would decide what criteria to adopt in selecting 3000 candidates out of the 15,000.
.
The last statement is a little bit confusing, from what we can tell, the FUNAAB cut-off mark can be changed by the senate.
.
But for the now, the Jamb 2014 cut-off mark for FUNAAB is 180.
.
As at the time of writing this news, Funaab 2014/2015 post-utme form is not on sale yet...
