Osun State Sets October 6th As School’s Resumption

The Osun Government has fixed October 6th as the resumption date for public and private schools in the state for the 2014/2015 academic session.

In a statement signed by the Deputy Governor, Mrs Titi Laoye-Tomori, it stated that the shift in resumption date from September 22nd as directed by the Federal Government is to enable principals and teachers in the state receive adequate training on Ebola prevention measures to avoid an epidemic in schools and in the state generally.

The statement called on school managers to ensure daily practical demonstration of hand washing by the pupils, students and teachers.
