Senatorial Districts and Federal Constituencies Affected by Fresh Postponement

Dear Colleagues,

The  Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is at  this time briefing the media on preparations for the rescheduled  National Assembly elections which will now hold on Saturday 9^th April 2011.

Please  find hereunder the Senatorial Districts and Federal Constituencies  where elections will not hold on April 9. The elections in these  Districts and Constituencies will now hold on Tuesday April 26, 2011,  the same date as the Gubernatorial and State Houses of Assembly  Elections.

The  INEC  Chairman is also scheduled to meet with the Steering Committee of  the Nigeria Elections Situation Room at 7:00 pm today at the INEC  headquarters.
