Pact in Nigeria is recruiting for the following position:

Title: Team Leader and Programme Director
Requisition Number: 11-0084
Location: Abuja

Position Summary:
The Team Leader and Programme Director (TL/PD) is responsible for the overall coordination and technical leadership of the DFID-funded Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Fund (NSRF). This will be a large, £20-£25 million project; the program contract is anticipated to last five years.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
•         Work to fully develop and administer grant mechanisms supporting conflict reduction. This includes reviewing, awarding sub-grants, ensuring compliance with donor regulations, and proper monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of grantee results;
•         Ensure high-quality programming through technical guidance and support that is grounded in the program's strategic objectives and adheres to expected technical quality and reporting requirements;

Qualifications:
•         Demonstrated experience in project implementation and management, ideally related to a complex  peace building  project  involving multiple actors;
•         Strong background in grant fund management and disbursement (preferably with DFID);
•         Experience refining draft project memorandum and fully developing a project for implementation and writing a business case.
•         Demonstrated ability to develop a logical framework, Monitoring and Evaluation plan and Impact Assessment Strategy.

Education and Experience Requirements:
•         Advanced degree in a relevant area
•         Minimum 10-years of experience managing complex programs in the development sector
•         Prior experience as a Programme Director or Team Leader, preferably with DFID
•         Experience working with DFID programs and/or funding required
•         Professional experience in Africa in a post-conflict country
