Role Summary/Purpose:   
•   The Accounting and Projects Leader demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for the O&G business.
•   In this role, will use experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
•   This position will support the entire Nigeria D&P O&G business within a growing emerging market with dynamic long-term growth with +$1B in potential future/projects.

Essential Responsibilities:   
• Support Management in providing QMI forecasts and analysis across DP&S platforms.
• Develop and provide routine and adhoc spend reports for all function leaders to track actual vs OP spend
• Oversight of the D&P projects portfolio and accounting, establishing the key processes and controls to ensure compliant accounting practices
• Lead routine and adhoc analysis of Income Statements and submission of monthly reports
• Manage Intercompany accounting system: Month end matching, journal entries, confirmation, settlements and account reconciliations


Qualifications/Requirements:   
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 4-6 additional years of experience in a financial position
• Certified Public Accountant or Master's of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
• Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• PC and excel proficiency
