The Saudi Recruitment Program (KSARP) is a partially funded program that provides professionals from Saudi Arabia to gain experience in an international organization. The main objective of the program is to contribute to the achievement of the bank's diversity targets and capacity building efforts through recruitment of high level professional Saudis, both in Headquarters and Country Offices.

Targeted Recruitment: High Level Professionals
Duration: 1 year can be extended for another year.

Funding Sources: Shared at 50% each by the Saudi Government and the World Bank hiring unit.

Eligibility Criteria:   
•   Masters degree or equivalent, with minimum of 2 years experience in a subject area relevant to the work of the World Bank Group including economics, finance, environment, health, education, urban planning, information, technology, human resources;
•   Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment;
•   Strong analytical skills
•   Knowledge of development issues is an advantage
•   Fluency in English and Arabic, other World Bank Group languages is an advantage (French, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian)
•   Computer skills

Grades   Positions are graded as:
•   Ungraded (UC) with entry salary equivalent to the market reference point of the relevant grade of the job level. Positions subject to  international recruitment.  Terms of reference must be reflective of the relevant grade level.
•   Professional technical grade levels.  Positions are subject to international recruitment. Terms of Reference must be reflective of professional technical grade levels. Salaries are based on grade level at recruitment

Hiring:
The recruitment process start at the end of Q2 (Bank's fiscal year is July 1st - June 30th), when the job descriptions are received from Banks hiring managers who are interested in filling posts with high level professionals.   These then are shared with the Saudi Executive Director by February / March.  The government provides HR with a list of suitable candidates.  The bank's hiring units select from the CVs provided. The recruitment process is managed by HRSPP. Appointment and subsequent HR Actions are handled by HR Service Center.

Additional Info - The program is for Saudi Nationals:
•   The Saudi Government may express sector preference as part of their development strategy
•   Network clearance processes are required through Sector Boards where applicable
•   Interviews and selections are made by the hiring managers
•   The supervisors and the hiring managers are expected to record and submit performance evaluations
•   Eligible for salary increases and conformation increases, subject to the Overall Performance Evaluation
