PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is currently recruiting for the UK's Department for International Development (DFID), and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The following positions are currently sought for:

Position: Finance Officer

The role provides support to the Finance Manager to ensure the successful management of the finance and amounting operations.

Key Accountabilities:
•   Prepares journal vouchers for all expenses such as purchase orders & invoices; office expenses; and suppliers and consultants invoices
•   Maintains the petty cash and reconciles expenditure
•   Assists in preparing the documentation for cash advance for domestic and foreign trips for staff Maintains the fixed asset register and coordinates procurement and disposal of fixed assets, as required
•   Prepares monthly reports for WHT schedules, accounts payable, VAT and fixed assets.

Skills and Competencies:
•   The ideal candidate must be articulate and possess advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
•   Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
•   Must be proficient in the MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
•   A good team player with the capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•   In addition, competence in the use of TALLY 9 accounting software is required.

Education and Experience:
•   Applicant should have first degree in accounting Finance or related field
•   Minimum of 3 years accounting experience in a corporate environment
•   Student member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or a related professional body.
