PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is currently recruiting for the UK's Department for International Development (DFID), and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The following positions are currently sought for:

Position: Senior Associate
Ref: S03

The role ensures that information on the Nigerian financial sector is relevant and useful in designing products that expand the financial services sector in Nigeria.

Key Accountabilities:
•   Conducts desk reviews, literature reviews produce relevant reports
•   Assists in the design of methodologies for qualitative and quantitative research conducted
•   Monitors progress of projects against agreed timelines and milestones
•   Provides relationship management support with research partners and consultants
•   Ensures data integrity for all surveys/scoping studies conducted
•   Assists in disseminating research findings.

Skills and Competencies:
•   Experience in statistical modeling and analysis is essential.
•   Must be competent in report writing and project management.
•   In addition, the individual must possess excellent communication and presentation skills and a natural inclination for creativity and original thinking.
•   Proficient in the use of relevant computer applications (MS Office, SPSS, State, etc).

Educational and Experience:
•   Applicant should have Post Graduate degree in Statistics, Economics, International Development or related field
•   Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience of which 2 years must have been in conducting research
•   Familiarity with Microfinance and access to finance.
