Spain win European Under-21 Football Championship

Spain were crowned European Under-21 champions on Saturday evening, in a 2-0 victory over Switzerland in the final at the Aarhus Stadium.

Goals from Athletic Bilbao prospect, Ander Herrera in the 41st minute, and Barcelona's Italy-born youngster,Thiago Alcantara in the 81st minute, earn Spain a 2-0 victory in the final of the European Under-21 Championship, against Switzerland.
