Ministers: Jonathan drops Tonye, picks Ngozi

The nomination of Architect Tonye Cole as a federal minister from Rivers State was withdrawn from the Senate yesterday, with President Goodluck Jonathan saying a new name will be sent to the Senate in due course. That name is likely to be Mr. Nelson Wike, chief of staff to Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi, who is presently being screened by security agents.
